Mt. Wolf – Life Size Ghosts (Hiatus Remix)

Lying in bed, having just woken up, my eyes were still a bit fuzzy and heavy. I was browsing the internet at maximum capacity for the early morning moment – lazily from my fingertips, phone in hand. In my inbox was an e-mail from the extremely talented producer and our buddy Hiatus containing a new remix for a group called Mt. Wolf. I threw off my bedsheets and quickly booted up the computer.

On first listen I fell in love with the track. I think a producer is most successful when he creates his own sound, one you could identify immediately and without hesitation. It’s a tricky balance though — it’s easy to create a sound that’s unique and lacking in taste. But lucky for us and his thousands of fans around the world, Hiatus has mastered a style that combines beautiful melodies and deep, pulsing sub bass, all while boasting an incredible atmosphere and nostalgia — and always making you always crave more.
